Good Morning Hunt

Got to hunt before work this morning. Hunted an old faithful hillside loaded with hickory. First squirrel fell at 6:30 and last one fell at 8:04. They seemed to come in pairs this morning. 6 of the 10 were basically doubles. Can't wait to go again this weekend.

455. Wish I could find a 452 to go with it. Truth be told though my little Bergara BMR has become my go to gun.

I love my 455. I have a Marlin 880SQ (the SQ stands for Squirrel), and it is an amazingly accurate squirrel rifle. I did put an aftermarket trigger in it, and it will shoot with the best of them. Many limits have fallen to it.

Nice rifle, I have 452 I hunt with, wish they still made that scope like you have there.

Me too, I'd love to have a couple more of them. The reticle is A++ for squirrel hunting.
