I've hunted the opening day of bow season since I was 12 years old. This year will be the first time I'm gonna miss the archery opener. I can't go deer hunting this year on opening day because... Well... I'll be deer hunting :) Gonna be driving west to Wyoming for my first mule deer trip. I'd be lying if I said part of me isn't gonna miss being ready to wake up too early, get set up early, turn on the thermocell, and stob the first doe that walks by. I'll be thinking bout you guys! Get one for me!

Same....here, but I'll not be driving to a hunti'll be sitting here at the house with the kids, living vicariously through ya'lls posts about just sticking one, need tracking advice and kill pics; as the wife is flying back from her National annual meeting with her job.

Sunday morning though.....I'm vapor around here! :)

Tell your wife you found a sitter through Craigslist to watch the kids for you on opening day. Let me know what she says. Lol

You seriously don't like me very much do you? Of the many things I am......stupid isn't one of them! I'll just piss, moan and whine like a little kid until she gets back and then the annual 4 month divorce starts. LOL :D

I'm the biggest prankster you'll ever meet. So I've got a good woman. I hid 3 old timey alarm clocks throughout the room set alarm 30 min apart and left for work. Oh I'm not saying you won't get cussed but it a fine and funny to talk about after about a month. I'm glad my wife doesn't travel so I don't know what I would do but she really knows better to ask me not to go hunting. We're best friends outside of hunting. U said it right 4 month divorce. LOL.

Same hereI ruined a perfectly good woman when I asked her to marry me with all the random jokes, pranks sarcasm and crap she puts up with. I'll have to try out the alarm clock thing though....that sounds hilarious! LOL

Try this one too. April fools of 2011. Saran wrap taped inside the door. Her head went right into it. Thank God I was gone to work.

I usually only get to hunt the morning hunt and look forward to Oct 15th cause it is too hot in early season.
