Throw a rattletrap......lol. I was whackin the bass a week ago on a trap and caught a couple 11-12 inchers while bass fishing. Same couple boats I've been running into out there say they can't keep the bass off of their minnows. Thats all I've heard, Mike.

really! was they fishing shallow or what ?where was they fishing ? we really need to start keeping them bass that aint in the slot , iam going in the morning to see about the crappie .

They were fishing the cove where slough rd or plough rd, whatever it's called, is at the back of it. Also out in the timber near the dam off the edge of that big grass flat.
Problem is, Mike, none of em are under the slot. They're all 17-18 inches or over 18 inches. I didn't catch an under fish in the 3 trips I've made in the last 2 weeks.

we caught a few crappie before the wind started blowing hard and then they turned off like a light switch.... but we got enuff for a good meal tonight ! the crappie aint ready out there just yet
