The non turkey versions don't have that. I cut mine off, used a dremel to smooth it out, hit it with some paint and called it good.

X2 on the tristar. I was hesitant on the pistol grip because I've never owned one but I love it. Holding the pistol grip and looking through the red dot just all feels right when I shoulder it.
I totally agree! I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm really glad I got it. Now if I could just find a turkey within calling distance to try it out on! 🤦🏻🤷‍♂️

Any concerns with the autoloaders and the high pressure TSS shells? Seems like they would be more likely to break from excess wear.
I have read that one of the leading brands is marginal for safety pressure wise. That is a concern for me.

But, I would have zero concerns with excess wear and the likelihood of shooting enough of them (due to cost) is almost nil.
