We purchased ~40 acres in Hendersonville a couple months ago and finally got the work started. This will eventually be a homesite but until then I am planning to tinker around and kill a few deer and turkey.

Congratulations! It's great to have a place to work on and plan for the future. My farm and living back up there during retirement is a major motivator at work lately.

Also, I bet you'll find it's at least as much fun working on the land to prepare for deer season as it is to actually hunt.
