Georgia bear and deer Opens September 11th, anyone else hunting? Should be a good weekend weather wise if the forecast holds true.
$325 I think all and all buddyLast time I checked (years ago) a nonresident license for Cohutta was over $800. I can't justify paying that when there are plenty of bears here for free (lt license).
Hope you kill a big'un!
I don't know if there's more bears there than South Cherokee but I feel the odds of seeing one during hunting season are alot higher. I hardly see a bear on South Cherokee during the dog season but on cohutta I've already passed a couple small bears and bumped a nice one.Maybe I got that number from somewhere else, it's been a long time since I looked? There's lots of bears in Cohutta, or at least their used to be. It was a rare occasion when I would go there (fly fishing) that I didn't see at least one. I'd hate to try to get one out of the places I was at though!
