Just saw the post from 444 about Benton Shhoters and their prices and I was just complaining to my wife about the prices at GM..... Box of 30 cal Barnes TSX at GM.... 44.95 plus tax... Midway... 31.99

Just plain highway robbery for the poor people who do not know any better....

I was in a pinch to buy some managed recoil shells for the juvy hunt.BPro was out and GM only place I could find them --- $5 more than Bpro -- I am NOT a fan of GM.

I had sticker shock last time I went into GM, I got mad and left.

Midsouth and Midway are good choices.
I don't know Midsouth, but if you need it this afternoon or in the morning, Midway is not the answer. Gander has 114 stores in 23 states, one of which is now in my town, as is Richard's. If they are higher than their competition as a matter of routine, then they wont survive. I just bought a scope from Dicks that was $10 cheaper($70 v.$80) than Gander(stores located about a half mile from each other). However, I have bought a bench rest from Gander, because they had it right then, and it was competitively priced. So, no reason to get mad. Just buy from whomever has the best deal. It's the American way.

I have found that Sportsman's Warehouse has some of the best prices and I seem to like what they offer better than Bass Pro/Cabelas/Gander Mtn. I just wish they would put one in Nashville.

Just to clarify..... almost 50% high on the price of an item than I can get it most other places is enough to make me discussed - annoyed - mad..... I think it is terrible. The people that do not know better are basically getting ripped off....

Here in Jackson GM has Glock pistols for around $650.

Less than five minutes away they can be had for $489.

Screw GM
