Will be dove hunting today, but if I can hit anything, I should be done, and have the birds cleaned in plenty of time for the beginning of the game!

This starts our 3 month journey through another season. There will be highs and lows, as always, but that's what makes it fun.

To be honest, being a Bama fan has to be ho-hum, because there's no way that the excitement can be there when you're expected to win every game, and if you don't blow every team out, you are questioned.

I guess that's what drives some fans to go to opponents' message boards and try to be cute.

On about the same schedule. I may not even shoot today but that's fine it's just a huge production around here with people coming in, but hopefully we can be cleaned up enough I am back at the house in time for kick off or shortly thereafter.

Here's one for you: what player is most intriguing to you all tonight. For me, it's Joe Milton. I hope Hooker is sitting by the start of the 3rd at the latest and Milton can get some run with the 1st team. Dont misunderstand and think I'm rooting for him to start anything. But, it's a long season and just like Ole Miss I can't imagine he's not going to have to handle a couple drives. Especially with a QB like Hooker that can be mobile. heard he's on better shape & matured I hope that's the case because it might well pay dividends in a close game later this year.

Need to take care of business tonight blow them out early. I don't wanna see what Pruitt and CBJs teams would do have a 10pt game In the 4th against these teams they literally couldn't even use backups in alot of the cupcaks games because it was to close. This game needs to be way outta hand early sprinkle some backups in there right after half.

And STAY HEALTHY I don't want to see anyone especially a starter out for the season game 1 against Ball st.

No explosive plays from the offense alot of sideline passing and runs.

38-0 at the half not been to impressed.

Pitt has put up 10pts at the Half only 3 in the first. Big big disappointment of Vols drop that game next week

Didn't get home from the dove field until the very end of the 3rd quarter. Not sure how they've looked but I'm happy with the score. They needed to put up a bunch of points on Ball State and have done that. Hope the starters came out early and backups have gotten a lot of snaps.

Pretty much summed up my thoughts. Defense doesn't seemed to be improved at all. Our O will be fine however.

I watched the end of that Pitt game. WVU did everything in the world to lose that game.
It looked like a great atmosphere though it could be a tough place to play.

I wasn't impressed by Pitt but was VERY impressed by the atmosphere! Definitely a great crowd.

hard for most to be critical of a defense that only allows 10 points. However, I have to agree with you. They ain't there.
