I took the boys fishing this evening and we got on some good crappie. Caught 12, and none were under 11 inches.

I got tired of eating crappie as a kid. My dad and uncle Richard used to catch bunches of them on Fort Loudon. Years later my dad brought me some that he had just caught. OMG I didn't realize what I'd been missing! They were delicious!!

Fished the same places this afternoon and couldn't buy a bite.
