found a cool product (if you need a cheek riser)

i am torn on which one to get either the wedge or the LSRCP. i don't really need it to raise my head any, more wanted it for the cheek slap recoil aspect.

well i ordered the shotgun wedge and ill check it out when i get it and let you know. If its to high or what not ill just exchange it for the other one.

saw a guy on OG post a pic of his gun and it had one on thats how i found it. After talking to the guy he said he loves them and has them on all his guns as well as his buddies do to....they make grips as well as an FYI.

i like the idea way better then the slip on type like a beartooth or the screw on plastic type that I've seen. this will basically be like a gel comb riser benelli already uses in the standard stock (which still amazes me they never added it to the steady grip stock except the vinci.)

got it in today so right away ill say they have super fast shipping. initial feel is it is a solid piece of gel like substance, even a bit more soft and squishy for those that know the benelli gel combs.

it is very solid to the feel and is tapered so when applied to the gun its not higher on one side then the other which is nice. Its not going add 2 or 3" for folks looking for a high riser but will add some to your face and feels like it will be awesome if all you need is a cheek pad or minor rise.

i am letting it cool off (been in the mailbox so the whole thing is cold) before applying it then ill let it sit for 24hours and see how well the glue is holding. Ill update when its all put on an together.

initial feel on the glue after putting it on is it is STICKY, looks like it will hold pretty freaking good but we will see tomorrow when i go to pulling on it. It was very tacky and once pressed to stock it didn't even look to come up on the edges.

so 2 days later, i am impressed with the product. Has held great as far as sticking to stock and is very easy on the face.

as of now my only issue is the Shotgun Wedge version is a smooth surface pad and is actually a tad tacky to the touch, which worries me that when it gets layer down or thrown down in the woods dirt and leaves and what not are going to stick to it. the other pad options come in textured with i assume is not tacky to the touch.

I rubbed the pad down with an old sweatshirt and it took most of the tack off the surface but only woods times ill tell with that.

From a pad stand point it fits great on the stock and is VERY soft to the face. its good for a steady grip stock (benelli) because it won't cover the sling plate on the side.

as of now overall id give it an 8.5/10. if they made it more textured to the touch id give it a 10 for sure.
