It's crazy that you posted today. I saw a truck with Clemson stickers the other day and for some reason it reminded me of you and I was thinking how I hadn't seen you post in ages. Good to see you back!

garmin has a built in ghost tree that attracts fish, so its probably the best. they sell bundles to make it simple. budget? do you have a boat for the trolling motor?

I use lowrance and really like it but mainly because its plug and play and very user friendly. Both will get the job done. The 2 crappie fisherman i watched (brandon lester being the main one) is a lowrance guy so he shortened my learning curve. Either way you go, it sure makes it alot easier to fill the cooler

Lowrance and Garmin are both very good. I could be happy with either one. I know some guys that actually run both, because they perform better at different depths.

My only advice - get the biggest screen you can fit & afford. Nothing smaller than 10".

What species are you typically targeting? What kind of trolling motor do you have?

Only have a 12,I'm poor😂Buddy has a 16 and it's way better if you can afford it.We sold 2 garmin 24 in units in the shop last week😎
They're so unreasonably expensive. You can buy an insane resolution computer monitor 24" for a few hundred dollars… why is it 10x the price to slap a Garmin sticker on it

or you could go with a 93sv but the 106 is much nicer.

if mounting on a TM you might look into a dominator if the included mount doesnt work for you.

be very wary of anyone telling you to put higher voltage on the black box or mfd or any device that does such and states improved returns is just trying to sell you something. its hogwash.
