I'm really out of the loop on the roundup stuff ,. but i know eagleseed soybeans are round up ready and they have a good selection of different soybeans to choose from. And of course,.. BioMaxx from biologic is corn and soybeans mixed and is roundup ready.
If i do summer annuals i just use buckwheat or imperial powerplant,.. which is not roundup safe after planting,.. but produces good tonnage. I like buckwheat because its simple,.. but like powerplant because its a great mix with soybean,lablab, peas,sorghum, and sunflowers,.. which makes for the best mix of summer annuals you can get for summer forage.
Maybe someone with more knowledge on roundup seed will chime in and give you some advice. GOOD LUCK!! With 4 acres ,.. if the conditions in the plot are good ,.. you should have a nice one.
