Food Plots food plot prep

I had all my plots disked and ready for planting, all I needed was a forecast for rain. Here is the problem, it rained here saturday really hard for about 15 minutes. The top of my ground is a little hard now. Do you think I could sow on top of it as long as I cultipacked it good afterwards?

I wouldn't, but that is just me. Too many turkeys on our place to leave much seed on top.

I'd probably go for it IF you have a good cultipacker.

thanks Jack, your opinion means alot to me. and yes i have a really good and heavy cultipacker.

Your welcome. The small bit of rain you got may even work in your favor as it probably smoothed out the plot even more than your cultipacker and filled in some low spots in dirt.
