Ok so a 300 yard spool of Fluoro line just showed up at my office today from Amazon. I guess the problem is I didn't order any. Wasn't billed for it or anything. It just showed up. I generally don't use fluoro line but what the hey, I'll certainly use free line anyday!

I guess someone sent it to me but no clue who it was. If someone from here then thanks and I will use it.

That's not true fluoro, it's fluoro coated mono. Just letting you know. You said you didn't generally use fluoro so didn't want you to get the wrong impression.

Coated mono is supposed to be the best of both worlds. Improved abrasion resistance and harder to see underwater. Meh.
Used it a bunch back in the early 2000s when I was all into catching redfish on 4 and 6# test line. It WAS better for abrasion resistance. Not sure if the visibility mattered. It was a bit stiffer and harder to cast off my ultralight rig so I eventually went back to my Berkley micro thin mono.
Give it a try and see if you like it.
