Odd line deal yesterday

So I was fishing yesterday and broke off on the hook set.
Wasn't surprised as I had been beating the cover pretty hard and did notice some rough spots but didn't retie.
Pulled off about 5 or 6 feet of line off and retied.
Next fish same thing.
Pulled off about 20 feet of line and retied.
Next fish same thing.
Brand new seagar red label.

Laid that rod aside and started using a different one.
No further issues.
Both were spooled off the same spool of line.

All I can figure is there was some kind of bad spot on the big spool.

Never had that happen before.

After 130 crappie, you prob wore a groove in the guide tip!

No kidding!
Been eating ibuprofen like m&ms and alternating ice and heat.
It's some better but still can't bend it without peeing a little lol

You should probably take the day off tomorrow and go fishing. It will be easier on your knee than pushing pencils

Dang guy! I am the one with the knee sprain for about a year now and added to it in the last few weeks , not to mention whatever happened with the bee moving. It seems to really be aggravated now. Fishing has been about the only time that I haven't been aggravating it, except when I have to get out after putting the boat on the trailer.

Yep that's it.
I'm cursed with that rod.
Man bought me one and I broke the tip off getting a jig off some brush.
Bought one to replace it plus another one a little longer.
Now the longer one goes down in battle lol
