Just had a good 8 go through with his nose on the ground after a doe that came through about an hour ago. This is the very first sign I've seen of a buck being interested all season, I've never seen anything like this before....I had this same buck come in to my stand 2nd day of muzzleloader and just stand there for 15 mins. Saw several bucks and does that day and ended up killing another buck but not one interested in any females. Since then I've not seen hardly any deer and definitely no chasing at all. I was in indiana hunting 11-16 to 11-19 but I know I didn't miss it in that short time frame, could they just now be starting up??

That's good to hear..I have spents tons of times in the woods also and like I said this was the first sign in my area.

I hunt Overton mostly and I'm just now starting to see bucks searching...not even chasing really...just walking/searching---I think it is just starting up in my area

Just in the last few days, I've started seeing scrapes. No chasing, and no rubs anywhere. North Hickman Co., just below I40., West of Nashville. The scrapes are active, and the boys doing it don't like it when you piss in their scrape!

Here there are rubs everywhere and have been for a while now, very very few scrapes though, but that's how it always is. Last year there was tons of chasing mid november. I did see 3 does this evening as it started to snow, no bucks though.

Saw a small buck chasing a doe this morning off of hwy 31 just north of Elkton this morning.

Also saw two other small bucks dead on the side of the road further south near Huntsville (separate locations). I was guessing they must have been distracted to get hit by a car.

We were in Catoosa all last week, saw a few new scrapes but not many, saw no bucks chasing, in fact, saw 2 bucks still running together. Saw does not being hassled.
