I'm proud to be a so-called "Hunt Master" for the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, and I do get paid a little bit when I write outdoor stories. But that's not my real motivation. The real motivation is it gives me excellent incentive to get off my lazy, aging butt - get outdoors and do cool things I'd never get to do otherwise - AND meet really awesome people.
