Bit the bullet and got my KY license and killed on the second day of hunting (Monday). They weren't gobbling, but I heard him walking up the ridge to me about 5 minutes after I ran the wingbone call, 12:50 PM. Wasn't sure if it was a Jake or not, and he started to booger, but I caught glimpse of a long beard and he gave me a brief window to shoot him at 35 yards.

He had one Jake feather in his fan, 1/2" nub spurs, and a long beard. Funny bird

Walking in the leaves is something else I can't hear along with drumming. I can hear them spit though
Post oak leaves are extra crunchy...it sounded like a person was walking up to me, but I knew it was a turkey, he came out of a real steep holler

Doesn't matter what kind of leaves they are I still can't hear anything walking in the leaves. Back when my daughter hunted with me a lot, she was my ears for stuff like that

I think she's a great addition to his channel for sure !! She just heads out and takes the lead . She has been taught well
Good job Catman 👍🏻
