Maybe this has been in the news before but first I heard of it.
On Paul Fienbaum Monday he slips in a tid bit about the tennessee coaching fiasco when Discussing the Stoops Melt down at Texas A&M .
He said that wen the vols fan base went whacko over Shiano and were burning down matresses and pitching a temper tantrum of sorts that the AD at the time John Currie went to Mike Leach and was in talks with him about being the head coach at the vols and then he got a phone call ordering him back to tn and then he got fired. Finebaum says Leach himself told him the story of it.
