Sunday I had a chance to shoot. I marked off thirty five and shot six arrows. My mark was off low and right. I adjusted my elevation and shot six more. I felt the elevation was good enough but I ran out of shooting time before I could adjust my windage.
I got in from a hard 13 hour shift and decided I would adjust my windage tonight. I setup, adjusted my windage and shot six more at thirty five yards. I made two kill shots, two that hit but within 4 inches and two more that would've missed or maybe even wounded. I retrieved my arrows and shot six more. Two more kill shots, three near misses within 4" and 1 miss.
I didn't number my arrows, I think that will be next. I am sure that with my inconsistent form it wasn't my arrow but I think I will number them next time.
I'd Have to say I think the shooter is off more than the bow and I'll need more practice prior to a hunt. It was getting really dark and I was pretty tired, my form was rough.
All in all, I had more fun setting up and taking down than I did at work.
