The fall feeding frenzy hasn't started where I fish but there are some slabs to be had. Unfortunately this is the last weekend before muzzleloader and my fishing will be very limited. The big one was 2 pounds 6 ounces.

Nice,looks like some quality fish.Did they come from ky lake,i havent fished in a while just wondering.

No sir. I haven't fished Ky Lake in several years. I do almost all of my crappie fishing in Mississippi at the "Big 4". Living where I do, 25 miles north of Memphis, it's much closer for me to fish North MS.

Lucky dog,wish i lived that close.We make a few trips to miss every year.Didnt figure kylake with the size of them,just hopeing.

I am lucky to live so close to arguably the best crappie lakes in the country. However, I have to work in Memphis so it's not as sweet a deal as one might think! :tu:
 
Congrats on a nice haul. I fish MS in the summer but give up before the fall. I'd almost trade my early bow season for a trip like that.

I haven't bow hunted much in the last few years. This October wasn't great for me but typically I have my best crappie hauls in the month.
