We killed one a few weeks back around Milan. Lathams is doing deer, but closes at 6:00. We of course killed it at 6:15 and were 30 minutes away. So we took it to Birdwells in Greenfield. Nothing else is open in the area.

Internet/google says Simmons is permanently closed.

Don't know about Dorset's, they have been there a while though.

So we have a lease outside Big Sandy. Keep in mind I live in East Tennessee. With the new rules about CWD and not being able to bring a deer across the Tenn. River. Started looking for a processor in the Area. Processing is a problem. Clearly by this thread and what I've found out looking around myself. I can see there just aren't very many Processors at all in the Benton County area. I know TWRA doesn't take the Hunter in Mind when making rule changes and such. This CWD decision is gonna put a hurting on the local economy too. No processors available, with the rules as they are, makes a person say hmmm coming to west Tennessee to hunt.
