I planted a foodplot this year that consist of turnips and beans. I also have cattle on the place which means I had to fence it in to keep them out. My question is so you guys think the fence might deter some of the deer from entering the plot?

I wouldn't think a standard 5 foot high cattle fence would make much difference to a deer. They've jumped mine all over the place. Top wires are sagging all over the farm ever since deer numbers increased several years back.

The fence is just a regular webbed wire cattle fence. The bright spot is that my plants are growing without anything grazing on them to early. The bad thing is the deer haven't really bothered it yet. Maybe it'll come in due time.
