Rem Model7SS 20 inch bbl 308 with 3-9x40 Ziess Conquest,,I would geuss it would handle 90+% of the places I hunt,,I killed 2 does with 2 shots in 15 degree weather with it at 390 and 410 yards in less than a minute 2-3 years ago,,it is accurate and is very repetable with the first shot cold bore

That first shot through the cold bore IS the important one and a lot of people don't know where that one's going. Looks nice.

I bought both sons the exact gun but one chambered in the 308 and the second one chambered in the 243.
