Finally FINALLY the monkey is off his back !!!
Everything you can possibly imagine has happened at different times over the last, I think TEN YEARS, that kept him from killing a bird but it all came together this morning.
I don't have any pictures, man is in school and I am at work.
He and his cousin went this morning and he had some hens and 3 or 4 jakes come out of the woods in front of them and walked straight to his decoy.
He said they got to about 40 yards and they were turning like they were leaving but he said one wasn't leaving and shot.
I am tickled to death.
He is 73 years old and I was beginning to think it was never gonna happen.
Sure wish I could have been there.
Now I need to work on the photo taking skills.
