.....just right and something like this happens. Been sick as a dog all week but this made my morning.

I had a triple at this location last year with a red, grey and yote, but not my camera. I know that will never happen again. Still thrilled with this. There's also a possum caught in the ditch, if you look on the left edge of the photo immediately above the road that pinhead size white spot is his head.

Step down dirt hole sets, bridger and MB traps, fox gland lure and in those sets fresh deer meat scraps. I bed by traps with peat moss.

But if you are trying catch K9's the main thing to notice is visible in the pic...location. Farm lane intersecting a brushy drainage ditch. Look at where the traps are placed. I've caught 13 k9's and 2 coon there in just a few weeks trapping between this season and last. 4 reds, 4 yotes and 5 greys.

I've caught 2 coyotes 1 bobcat 7 coons and one grinner the last four mornings. That's the first bobcat and coyotes I have ever caught. I think the best thing I did was buy the mb550's. That's about all I've done different, and I've started catching them.

Congrats on your cat and yotes! Throw up some pics!

The 550's, like all MB's, are great because they don't require a lot of tuning out of the box. I've been using the 450 more because I found I was missing a lot of greys with the pan tension on the 550's. Also coon's pulling out of the offset. At any rate, the yote and far red in the pics are both in fully modded bridger #2's with PIT pans, and the near red is in a 550...which ironically caught a grey a couple days earlier. I put a 550 there because I thought that was the trap most likely to nab a yote.

This property is pretty much tapped out of coon and k9. I started pulling today and planned to finish pulling tomorrow. Then I stubbled over a bunch of otter sign. So I will be putting otter sets tomorrow and pulling traps next weekend :D
