I am not much of an organ guy with the exception of the heart, but this year I think I am going to save a few deer livers and try to make pate. Anyone ever try to do this?
Poser said:I've done it. It came out well, but, for the effort, liver and onions or dirty rice is easier to do. I'd do pate for a party or something, though.
If you are not a fan of organs, I suggest Cajun dirty rice as it really hides any taste that you might find off. I've fed people dirty rice who had no idea they were eating organ meat.
