I am not much of an organ guy with the exception of the heart, but this year I think I am going to save a few deer livers and try to make pate. Anyone ever try to do this?

If you are not a fan of organs, I suggest Cajun dirty rice as it really hides any taste that you might find off. I've fed people dirty rice who had no idea they were eating organ meat.

Dirty rice is about the only way I eat liver other than in pate. I believe Popeyes dirty rice has chicken livers (or atleast it use to) and I never realized it until I was older. Nothing like some dirty rice with Louisiana hot sauce!
