European mount- making room in the freezer

My parents are needing me to make room for some beef, and I still have my first buck I shot in the freezer. How well does the burying method work? I don't know if I'll have time to boil it and get it ready as its my first time doing it.

If you have a pressure washer I'd take that too it and clean it that way. Burying one does ok, just takes time. If you can cut most of the hide off first it really speeds things up. Bury it now and check it it in July.

Big pot of hot water and a pressure washer and you should have it cleaned up in 2-3 hours tops and most of that time you'll be "sheltering in place" doing something else anyways.
