ELK BURGER IDEAS????

Both elk tacos and spaghetti are good as well. Also, put some burger in with your Rotel (cheese dip) for a good snack for football game, etc...

Elk burgers are best cooked the simplest..We have a resturant that features them just salt and peppered,a little accent , cooked over a wood fire, try it this way, you will like them cooked this way..

Where is your restaurant located IM? Might shoot up there and try it sometime. ;)

I should have said we have a resturant in town we eat at a lot, sorry for the confusion,Its the Bald headed Bistro,owned by a friend of mine Alan Jones. all kinds of game dishes...I should own part of it since I eat there so much..

Mix

1 pound of burger
1 pound of shredded chesse
1 small can of mushrooms diced
1 small onion diced
1 pound of cheap bacon cooked and diced in to small pieces


make in to patties and grill to medium .......


did this with deer meat the other day and they were good

I also had it

1 pound of burger
1 pound od cooked and drain bacon
1 pound of Parmesan chesse
frozen spinach thawed ( make sure you all the water out of once thawed
Lots of black pepper


Mixed all together and grill

yes its in clevegas, The wild game there is the best I have had..
This is my favorite dish there.

Never eaten elk except in jerky, but deer is hard to beat using garlic, black pepper, and soy sauce....la choy being my fav.
If you have about 10#'s or more use 1 # of hickory smoked bacon ground into it for fat and moistness and flavor, Pat into burgers and enjoy an excellent meal!
