What have you guys been seein up carter and johnson county. Ive seen some does lately, but they have been few and far between and bucks non existant. Ive found a few little scrapes and some little rubs but aint seen any chasin. Just curious what you all have seen

Been seeing lots of does, but all the bucks ive seen have been at night on trailcam. Hopefully this cold front coming in will get em' going.

I've been out almost every evening. I missed three bucks during bow season, and my ML misfired during the first week of ML season on a nice 8. Since then, I've seen ONE doe! Not sure what is happening. The heat and moon must be messing with them.

Hunted 39 hours since last Friday, without seeing a deer. I feel like every deer on the earth vanished this past week.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like lockdown to me. Believe we are long past it fellers. I've not seen a single sign of deer behaving like teens this year, but I'm sure it happened.

I seen a spike running a doe to death 2 days ago

I saw a small one-horned buck dogging a doe hard yesterday. I grunted loud at him to see his reaction and he didn't pay me any attention. Also seen 5 more does with nothing after them.

Seen three doe's today not a buck in site and not a buck on trail camera in a week

Be in the woods ..in the morning..it will be like black friday at walmart.This cool front is just what we need.
Next few days will be good for deer hunting.

Havnt seen much lately. I seen small bucks chasing opening weekend of muzz.I have seen does alone. We still see in fields at night. Not much action around here

seen a good buck chasing 2 does this morning rite next to the road on brushy valley close to 75n,there was a hunters truck parked about 200y away,dont know if he got a crack at him or not.there was a creek between the ridge & the field & couldnt stopto watch,prob a 8pt past the ears & 180 on the hoof i would guess

I dont know what is going on in carter county seen 3 doe's yesterday no bucks haven't got a buck on camera in a week i dont know if the rut is over or what i wasnt even showing bucks with doe's on camera ever. Doe's was always with other doe's

I killed a buck the first Monday of muzzleloader hot on the heels of 2 does. I think the primary rut is over. In another week and a half or so, it should start picking back up when the yearlings are ready to do what nature intended.

Only seeing does lately, but strangely without fawns in Jeff County. Seeing more aggressive rubs as well and some fresh scrapes. Hoping tomorrow morning will bust something open or at least have them up and moving. Did see a four point this morning running across a road after a doe.
