Like most things like that. If you use them and kill a deer you think that works great and if you don't kill one you think that stuff is no good.

I think these are like most fishing lures. Designed to catch the fisherman, not the fish.

I figure a deer can smell things from far away I cannot smell up close. How am I ever gonna beat that? Take advantage of the wind and thermals.

Don't buy them depending on them to cover your scent. I have used them in storage bins with my clothes. You can do the same with leaves, dirt, and pine and cedar needles but sometimes those cause mildew.

I've been trying them out and very impressed with the earthy smell. My wife says i stink like dirt when i get home from hunting
