This is a follow up to my earlier question. Do I need running lights in my private slough where there will be no other watercraft?

I can't answer this question without seeing the slough. If it is a small lake/pond that is totally landlocked by your land, then you would not need the running lights.

If the slough is an offshoot of another body of water, then you would need all safety equipment.
