Duck Quota Hunts - Kids

I have two kids that I hunt with, 15 (16 in a month) and 14, they have hunting licenses and all, but they can't join my duck quota hunt. I don't get why? If they are licensed hunters and can legally hunt duck, why can't they be part of my party?

As I recall (aka, this is not legal advice), anyone eligible for youth quota hunt applications can only apply for a youth quota hunt—there's several youth big game quota hunts across the state.

So the answer is, I think, your kids are at the ages where they are still eligible for youth quotas. That's why they're ineligible.
