Im a little confused on the regulations regarding hunting waterfowl while in a non-landlocked body of water. If I am sitting in a boat or a kayak on the side of a small river, am I basically able to hunt anywhere on that river or are some areas off limits? Additionally, If that river goes through a wma, do I need the wma waterfowl permit or just the regular state stuff? Im new to duck hunting and trying to plan for next season.
What if that wma does not specify that waterfowl is ok in that area (Obion River WMA)?
As far as hunting from a kayak, since I dont have a motor and am using paddle power, do I only need a visible 360 degree white light in the early morning dark hours or what?
