I like a Stoeger M3000 12ga.

3.5" shells are a little too "kicky" for my taste, so I saw no need to spend the extra $ on the M3500.
The main reason for me buying a 3.5 inch chambered shotgun is in case that is the only shells I can find when I'm looking for shells. I usually shoot 3 inch shells, but there have been a few time 3.5 is all that was on the shelf during late season and especially with all the ammo hoarding and reselling lately.

Meant to add—if hunting Old Hickory WMA you don't need a gun….Just a stove and some eggs.

Invested in a 3-burner just for the Hick.
