I read in the local paper tomarrow is the 1st day for the next drawing. It will run thru May31st.I would wish ya'll good luck but I want Mine 1st.
I always put in for everything, and every now and then, my name comes out of the hat(Ky elk 2006, and NRA Whittington Center turkey this year). However, to think that my name will appear in this one, is beyond logic. But it will be in the stack. lol

OOPS I don't put in for everything. Some hunts I know I can't attend. I hate to get a tag and not use it if someone else can.
If I get drawn for a Elk in TN. I'll be there one way or the other !!!!

I'll save my $10 again this year..I agree with and support TWRA with every aspect in the way they manage our wildlife, except our Elk..I just don't think we need to be having a hunt now..I know, bulls doesn't really contribute to the population much, but still only an estimated 250 to 300 elk..I say give it a few more years.

With a sportsmans license, do you have to pay the drawing fee? First time owning one.
I don't think so, but go thru the online application process, and toward the end, it will tell you if you do. Then, all you have to do, is cancel, if you don't want to pay it at that time. However, I have a lifetime sportsmans license, and you definitely don't with that one, because I'm looking at my printed receipt, showing Amount due, $0.00
