the Retumbo 110 AB load shot bugholes but only clocked 3090,,heck I can get over 3200 with 4350,,but thats it with Retumbo the case won`t hold anymore..

Retumbo is what I use in the 264 Winchester, with 140`s. Its pretty slow stuff.

Its the only powder I found could push the 140`s to 3200 fps accurately.

i`d seen quotes of 3300,,had to try it,,I got some 200 SMK the RUM likes the Retumbo with.

I piddled with the heavy bullets but where I hunt 550 is about it and the spped of the 168 Sierra and the BC and accuracy of that bullet is top dawg to that range,,I get 3500+ with the 168 an can go 3200+ with the 200 SMK but it dont overtake the 168 till about 700 and i aint got a spot like that,,

I loaded the 180 NBT with 96grs RL25 and got 3435 and .7 MOA far as I could see.

Well I specifically set this rifle up for lllooooonnnngggg range work. I havent managed to really take advantage of its capabilities yet though. Ive used it on deer and antelope and generally speaking, at less than 400 yards I get an ENTRANCE hole anywhere from a baseball to a football in size. My longest kill with it so far is 675 yards on a doe antelope and at that distance it appears to have slowed down and lost enough energy to where that A-Max performs like I want it to.

I`d have to try some 180 Accubonds....

My wildcat based off the 338RUM is quite happy with them, no skinned and gutted animals.

I shoot 7mm 140`s at 3650. Nosler must be doing something right.

Eric, you ever played with RL19 in the 25/06?

I ever get another one, I`ll try that and N560.

the 25-06 I have loves RL19 with the lighter bullets,,the 75 V-Max and 85 NBT is a coyotes worst nightmare,,it will actually outrun 4831 with the 100 NBT but doesnt group as good,,thats just my gun though,,A-3100 was the fastest with 100`s but it shot patterns...

I`m gonna try and get these 110`s to shoot past 3300 but it may be next spring now,,somewhere between 7828,RL22 RL25 there should be something that works,,

Nosler listed retumbo going over 3300 but I couldnt get there,,just barely over 60 grs is all I could get in it and it topped out at 3090.
