I'm looking for dimensional information on rifle length gas system, but not sure what is reliable. Will a 15" hand guard cover the gas block on a rifle length +2" gas system. Looking to build a 20" 6mm ARC

Looks like it is 14.2 inches from your barrel extension shoulder to your gas block boss. Add the length of your block. Personally, I would look for a 16 inch.

But if you can't get ammo, or brass, not sure that it matters.
