that is pretty cool. I've got pics of certain deer with half their winter coat but not one quite like that.

Shortening length of the days, just like estrus, etc. Day length is a deer's internal calendar.

Great pics man. I have have 2 pelts tanned one in gray and one that was reddish. Looking for a piebold to finish collection.

I have yet to see a piebald in the wild at all. Would love to get me a piebald nannerhead!

I only got one picture of this yearling buck late in the season, and never saw him in person, but I really think this is a cool picture, and the environmental conditions were probably one of the few times this buck felt camouflaged!

Yep I saw 5 sat morn and they have transitioned about 80% from the red to the winter grey.
