Dickson County Trespassers...Advice

I was considering posting several pics of Dickson Country Trespassers I have caught on camera. The 190 acre lease is posted very, very well on all sides. But, before I post the pictures I was wondering if I would be in violation of anything? I wouldn't think it could be construed as slander because they are indeed trespassing and had to pass by two signs no matter how they came into the property. I won't call them poachers even though I find little difference from them and a POS trespasser with no regard for others. My reason for posting would be to see if anyone recognized them as I would like to turn pictures and names over to the local game warden. The property for you Dickson County guys is in the vicinity of Alvin Dickson Rd area and Hwy TN-49. Thanks for the help and advice!

Seems the consensus. Well I have never posted the first picture on TNDEER. I have the files saved to my desktop here but I guess I have to activate a photobucket account first??? I will try to do that tonight and get these pictures up. Oh btw, several months ago we went to check a different camera and the camera card was missing....strange, could we have forget to put it in? Sure, that is possible, but I suspect I now know why the camera card was missing.

Also remember that trail-camera pictures of people trespassing are admissible as evidence in court. Just trail-camera pictures alone will convict a trespasser.

This is correct. I've got two with trail cam pictures and they ended up with multiple violations from just the picture. Smile you're on camera!

So, here are the pics of my trespassers. Again, if anyone knows of them/names/etc you can PM me and I would like to turn this information over to the authorities. I had a much better picture with a good closeup of a guy but he had a kid with him and I didn't feel right about submitting that photo because the kid was also in the closeup.

I would show them to the lease president or LO. They might be able to tell you who they are. You don't want to step on any toes with this. If the LO knows who they are and they have permission it may cause a problem and mess up your lease. I would go that way before calling the law. Heck the LO may tell you exactly who they are and make it easier to catch them.

That's not an issue only 3 people on the lease - all of us are equal/joint members on the lease.

Except they can throw you under the jail, and the trespassers can sue the snot out of you, for doing that.

Take the high road.

How are you going to feel if some innocent kid steps on those spike strips?

Exactly. Not to mention it appears that the second atv in the second picture is being driven by what appears to be a kid.



I would show the pictures at random gas stations and ask around. Chances are you will find someone who will tell you who it is.
