Never said that I didn't like Henry, not a vols fan. But Henry was always a good RB and hopefully he can be good at the next level unlike most RB out of bama.

Never said that I didn't like Henry, not a vols fan. But Henry was always a good RB and hopefully he can be good at the next level unlike most RB out of bama.

I just find it hilarious the people on FB that were bashing him all season long calling him a horrible RB just because he was protected by a great O line are now greeting him with open arms and tripping all over themselves trying to get his autograph.

Talk about smash mouth football DeMarco murry/Derrick Henry running behind the big former Bama FB Dexter fowler, running behind guys like chance warmack, Lewan,and now coklin. This should open up the play actions beautifully for mariota.

I liked the pick, I posted on this site before the Rams-titans trade, and before the singing of murry I would not mind the titans taking Henry in round two.

So for the titans to take him with the #45 pick, after they had already used two other 2ed round picks on defense i don't have a problem with it.

So if he bust that sucks, but it's not like he was picked 3ed overall like Richardson. Or even with the titans first or second 2ed round pick.

Henry is incredibly strong and deceptively fast, but my one worry about him in the NFL is his lateral movement -- just didn't see much of that out of him at Bama. His size and speed should really help him out pass blocking -- particularly picking up those back side corner and safety blitzes. I think Henry's biggest asset is his work ethic -- the kid's not going to fail due to lack of trying.

Derrick Henry reminds me of OJ Anderson,same type of power runner. Anderson had a good career.

True, then add the fact he played in 3 games were he got less then 10 rush attempts, and still put up really nice season numbers is awesome. if he can stay healthy he has a chance to be great.

Gurly had 229 attempts for 1,106 yards. 4.8 yards per carry.

When Demarco Murray won the rushing title in 2014, he rush avg was 4.7, got 160+ more attempts, and only scored 3 more TDs, Or yeah he was running behind the best O-Line in the nfl

I thought the same thing... He is decent but nothing great. Wouldn't even call him a good rb. He is a serviceable...
