It was a heck of a hunt. I have hunted cheatham since 2003 and never killed one there. I have hunted bowriters famed tree were 30 does have been killed from .... saw 3 once
years and years of nothing
last year on the early bow hunt i was running late and said screw it and pulled off early to a spot i have never been
saw a deer .... said to my self that is more than i have seen in a decade
ml hunt mike bomb saw a doe about 200 yds deeper i said that is 2 deer in 2 months this spot is hot lol
didnt hunt yesterday due to the rain but went this morning got up in the tree i like mike went on down where he saw the doe
it rained or drizzled all morning heard 2 shots piddled around on the phone for a bit texting catman
i recommend every one text him for good luck . worked for me
about 915 i was feeling ho hum then i heard something behind me in the thick stuff 2 does i was giddy as a schoolgirl
tried to get scope cover off all tore up as they were running they were gone it was thick i mean thick
then i looked up and saw rack i immediately new it met antler requirement i knew i wanted to take him
it was thick did i mention that
took a 1/4 to shot and it was a lil back .... kind tore up
he started running up hill to me i was like hell yes come to papa he acted real hurt
15 minutes later i was just chilling texted mike bomb tx mag pmc big buck down
then i heard something
it was my buck up and walking and walking down into the thicker of the thick i was like wth
called using can call tried everything nothing
text every one and said i missed at least i thought i was bummed
waited another 20 minutes climbed down walked in wood got half way down saw belly in the bottom he got up walke to the bottom of huge hollow and died
way back single lung exit in guts had a fun time getting him out but that i why i hunt with mike lol
