Finally Checked one off this year.... Hardeman county
I have hunted in Blount, Decatur and chester this year with no luck at all still have opportunities in Montgomery Robertson Weakley and Fayette and should get back to Decatur this year.
What can I say about ole spooner I have known him for over 10 years, I was trying to think when did we first meet for some reason I think it was at Montgomery bell when he was drunk and fell in the mud... any way he is just the best and his wife too, just great people. I was going to stay with them for my presidents island doe hunt but couldnt make it as I had not recovered from food poisoning.
With my monthly work trip to memphis it has allowed me to sneak in an evening hunt with spoon last month and today.
We had a great Lunch great visit and great hunt
Well we got it done today. Hunting a field in Hardeman county sitting in a chair blind I saw 8 killed 3 does
the 7 saum was hungry and it ate
dropped the first one 3:29 at 200 yds
then 448 78 yds and 507 49 yds
160 accubond over h414 2930 fps
