Has anyone tried them? the buck or doe ones looks good on TV but I'm just wondering has anyone really had success with them...

I used a doe decoy last year, quite a bit. never had anything come to it other than a coyote.....lol.

I had some does cross way out from it and they seemed nervous....

I thought about two or more decoys might be better.....maybe two does and a buck.....

maybe not....good luck.

during the rut I will take a deer 3d target (new one) and set it up about 30-40 yards in field out in front of me on a fence row. 3d targets are much cheaper than true marketed decoys. pour a little "smell good" on its tail and remove antlers and sit and wait...I have several bucks come to it over the past couple years. doesnt work every time but other deer havent seemed to let it bother them....

one time in particular I watched a decent buck step into field from about 300 yards away downwind..he looked right at the decoy and headed right towards her...

I shot 2 deer hunting with a decoy last year. I use one called an easy doe. It a blow up decoy and it has a little battery box that goes in its rear end. You Velcro the tail on it and it has a little remote that you can use to make the tail flip. I researched ift before using it and found that its legal to use the law says you can't use electronic calls. The regional TWRA office said it was fine too. The only thing I noticed about the decoy was that the does didn't like it at all. But I had several bucks come to within 10 feet of it. And 2 of them were shooters!
