Looks like next week I'll place my order for a Kimber Montana 7mm08 topped with a leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40m, still going to build a semi custom later on but want something I can spend some time with before season starts.

I don't see how you could not be happy with that. I have one of the old Kimber 22LR's made in the real early 1990's and can vouch for Kimber's ability to make a superior rifle.
