Twist would have far more to with stabilization than barrel length. My only quibble with it is the barrel length at just under 21". Yes, velocity gain is minimal after 18.5", but stabilization of heavier bullets will suffer.

And people are cutting their barrels shorter with a suppressor, regardless of whether they use a heavy bullet or not.Yes, but some people see heavy bullet groups tighten with the addition of a silencer. Even a little more distance of gas propulsion seems to make a difference.
Mine shipped same day. Supposed to be here Monday. That works out great.. chemo Tuesday will keep me homebound the rest of the week.I have the .308 coming. I will post some pics when it arrives. I could not pass on the deal and CZs are known for good triggers and accuracy. Almost bought the 06 also..
Monday for me to.. What bases are you going to use?Mine shipped same day. Supposed to be here Monday. That works out great.. chemo Tuesday will keep me homebound the rest of the week.
Not sure. They used to provide rings for rifles without sights. Waiting to see if they still do. If not, will likely just order theirs...they are solid rings.Monday for me to.. What bases are you going to use?
What rings are you going to buy? Hopefully my gun gets dropped off today.
I found a little better price on these on eBay, but these are what I'm using. You will need 19mm rings. The 550 and 557 use the same rings. CZ-USA is out of their brand in their website. What rings are you going to buy? Hopefully my gun gets dropped off today.
I like Talley rings but they are pricey. I will probably order these as well. My FFL dealer delivers mail so my gun could not be dropped off yesterday. That's a nice looking stock on that rifle.
I haven't measured it or anything, but feels fine. It's adjustable. It's not the 550 single set trigger, but still a good trigger.I like Talley rings but they are pricey.
