Speaking on the IMR7828 from the other thread, what's your load combo and recipe for the .243 btw? I have my daughter's shooting MOA with some AA4350 and 100 gr Nosler partitions, but would like to find something that might be a little more, eh, tackdriverish? :)

Straight Nosler Book max: 45.5 grains of IMR7828, 100 gr partition, Federal 210M, R-P brass, 3000 FPS

As I recall it is 45.5 grains and then 2 pieces of 7828 powder. This combo shot sub one inch and killed quite a few deer and a TON of piggies in California. I only owned two rifles when I started handloading; this 243 and my A-Bolt 06.

Note Hodgdon lists a compressed 46 gr as max load

My Rem 700 ADL allows me to load the bullet out quite a bit.....see the pic...

I jumped backwards to RL19 for 95 gr partitions...this is also a very accurate load see the pic...

I have yet to get the 90 gr Accubonds to shoot straight. Over 75 rounds and nothing even close.

BTW, I have some hornady brass that produced junk targets. very disappointed.
The 87 grain monolithics shoot okay, nothing to write home about but will kill if I have to take it to California.

I'm getting right under 1" groups at 100 yds using the AA4350 and 100 gr partitions, just looking for something that'll beat that. I have some of the 105 gr Nosler LR boolits that I plan to try to work up soon as well, just trying to get a little more knock down from it with those. Mainly looking to get a little more accuracy from the 100 gr before I move up tho.
