Dang wally world

I went to the cools springs wally world a few weeks back and they had Rem 700 ADL's camo stock and cheap scope for $297. I immediately bought one in 243 and asked if this was going to be a regular item kept in stock. They said they had a couple more in the back and that they were getting new ones in every week and not to worry. I went back yesterday and they said that it did not look like they were getting anymore and they were all sold out. I would have bought everyone they had in stock had they told me this before.

It must be a localized thing, b/c this sale wasn't happening at all in this area. The Walmart that I deliver to said that that price was suppose to be a Black Friday deal. I would have bought a 243 just to build on the action. Remington had a $50 rebate on 700's at the time that people first started mentioning this sale in their areas.

Thats what I bought the 243 for. They had a 30/06 and a 7mm mag also which I would have bought had I known. The guy told me yesterday that allot of Walmarts did not get them.

Cool Springs had 7mag when I was there in September. A few weeks after that they had a 30-06 and a .243. I don't know what happened to them.
There was one in their case every time I had been there since then, but haven't been in a few weeks.

Lewisburg had them for quite a bit less than that with the black synthetic stock and cheap scope. They may still have some.

Walmart in cool springs had the ruger american for 285 last black friday weekend. The regular price on them went up since then, but they will probably be under 300 this time.

I walked into the Wally World in London Ky two days ago and they had a 700BDL in 243 for 597.00. Needless to say it went home with me

Swung back by at lunch and seems they have replaced them with the same thing except in black and $100 more ($397). If you can do without the cheap no name scope, you can get the exact same thing right down the street at Academy for $20 less.
