i just got the call !! the man that hunts a 175 acre farm behind my place killed the 10 point
[i believe he was a 150" class buck] i have been after all season. said he shot him in the afternoon on the 26th. big bucks are still being killed, that's what i get for slowing down on hunting after the rut/end of season thinking he would go nocturnal.which he was according to the trail cams.on a positive note it was fun getting to hunt knowing there was a good deer in the area . i found rubs as big as dinner plates and had several pics of him plus a couple more shooters.this has been the best year by far in the way of older shooter bucks in my hunting area. hope it carry's over into next season.

There are still great bucks being killed in my area daily. In some areas the rut is just now kicking in.

i had the video clips of him. once in early in the season , one in late nov and another about the second week of dec. all was at nite except the one that was in early bow season.theres a chance its not the same deer as i had on cam but theres not to many deer like him in the area we hunt so i believe it is. going to stop by and confirm it with the owner of the other property

yes I think it is . We don't have many like him in our neck of the woods .

the image is bad I know but it's a video clip ,I had to take pics of it on my PC with my phone then down load pics to photobucket ,that's the only way I knew how to get them on here ,I suck with electronics

i confirmed that it was the same deer, he said it was 18 inches wide. thats all he measured.said he might score it when he got it back and that i could stop by and see the mount.he is 79 years old that made me feel better and glad for him.

yeah and I tried really hard, but the cards just didn't fall my way.i am healthy and if The Lord allows i should have many more years to hunt . The gentleman that got him is 79, and most likely want continue hunting many more years . I am happy that he got the deer and told him so . I doubt he believed me but regardless I am .
