This may have been discussed but I had a brain fart yesterday evening watching picked bean field. Since cwd gets in the ground and is transferred to plants and animals, does that mean that when hay, beans and corn are harvested and sold all over the world it's contaminated with cwd?

In theory it could. But don't expect any action until CWD has been documented jumping to humans. State wildlife agencies generally don't have the authority to regulate agriculture.

I googled that theory after posting and yes it has been documented in wheat. Crazy to think it's Sold all over the world and even documented that crows eating it and spreading it at roost sites. Hard to believe anything could be done to stop the spread of this disease. Just think of geese going from grain field to grain field

Geese, doves, ducks, heck even lots of tweety birds are migratory. They could spread it over a continent or across an ocean even. There's not much to prevent it but I'd think it would be in such low concentrations that this would be a relatively low risk of infection.
